About This Role:

Full Time: Monday - Friday | In-Store (In-Person)

We are seeking a hardworking, detailed, and creative individual who is prepared to take on the creation, organization, editing, and photo-taking needs for our E-Commerce products on our online store. We are requiring the clean-up, creation, and reorganization of our expanding E-Commerce website and products. We are looking for a motivated applicant with E-Commerce Merchandising, photo taking, and Microsoft Excel/Office experience to assist us with product creation, and organizational tasks. There is plenty of upward growth opportunity in this role for anyone interested in taking on the responsibility for the independent management of our E-Commerce Merchandising needs.

Ideal applicants for the E-Commerce Merchandising role are highly detailed and creative; seeking to create beautiful and well rounded product listings that provide a consumer with all of the accurate information that they could ask for.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

• Creating online listings in a timely manner for new products that are brought in by the purchasing department.
• Editing outdated product listings in our ecommerce shop.
• Adding appropriate addon and upsell items on every listing.
• Finding and/or developing key product information such as cost, retail price, product description, images etc. and applying them to website listings.
• Taking at least 6 high quality product photos for use on the website
• Writing unique and high quality copy for product descriptions
• Adding appropriate product filters to aid in product sorting on the site
• Optimizing website listings to increase search efficiency and website traffic (SEO).
• Creating, managing, and editing Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets documents. *Applicants must have high proficiency (Knowledge of shortcuts and equations)*
• Working with our inventory control program (Fishbowl Inventory) to edit product information such as price, titles, descriptions, etc.
• Maintaining a professional, organized and presentable workspace.
• Attend occasional and necessary monthly work-related meetings.
• Maintaining pleasant discourse with customers, and providing customers with excellent customer service.
• Working closely with RS team members in a variety of departments.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong capability with computers (Mac and PC)
• Moderate understanding of firearms (Willing to learn)
• Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator is required
• Attention to detail & ability to multi-task
• Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel is required
• Creative mind, and desire to optimize
• Great copywriting capabilities
• Affinity and skill with taking high quality product photos
• Polite, courteous and tactful with employees and customers
• GED or High School Equivalent Qualification. College Degree Preferred but not required
• Must be proficient with a standard keyboard, mouse and PC
• Must be prepared to spend long hours in a seated position at a computer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
