Education Outreach Liaison Job at Doylestown Health
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Education Outreach Liaison will facilitate and support outreach efforts related to our Community Health Needs Assessment and raise awareness of Doylestown Health Services. This position will facilitate and provide wellness programs for the Doylestown Hospital Associates, Corporate, and Community. The Education Outreach Liaison will also extend Education’s outreach through management of Support Groups. CHES certificate required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Facilitate and support outreach efforts related to Doylestown Health’s Community Health Needs Assessment as determined by the Wellness and Outreach Manager and the Director of Strategy & Outreach
2. Sustain associate and corporate wellness by providing health activities through innovative programs in conjunction with the Wellness and Outreach Manager
3. Manage support groups held within the VIA system
4.Supports strategic outreach efforts through program, in-take requests, analysis and promotion for health system as determined by the Wellness and Outreach Manager and the Director of Strategic Innovations & Outreach
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (required) with training in Health Education or
equivalent fields of study. CHES certificate required
Experience: Some experience in healthcare, project management, multimedia technology and Microsoft Office suite.
Other Skills: Ability to foster positive working relationships; articulate and poised with customer contact; excellent organizational planning and administrative skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to effectively prioritize work and coordinate project timelines; demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment; requires scheduling flexibility (evenings and weekends);
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
