We are looking to find a team member like you who is dedicated to improving the lives of some of our most vulnerable populations in the County. We are currently hiring a Full-Time Operations Manager for the El Dorado Center, a 16–bed transitional Rehabilitation Center for clients struggling with mental health and co-occurring disorders located in Santa Cruz.

Responsibilities:

• Assure the program provides a healing and trauma-informed environment with intensive individual support, crisis intervention, and groups for persons served.
• Provide consistent, high quality, supervision for program staff.
• Provide facility oversight including ensuring 80% bed utilization and licensing requirements are being met for Community Care Licensing, DCHS, the County of Santa Cruz, and other regulatory agencies.
• Assures adequate staffing and program coverage.
• Provides oversight of the overall facility, in collaboration with the facilities department, to assure the any building needs are being addressed.
• Identifies staff hiring needs, assures staff receive on-boarding and on-going trainings, in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Assures crisis intervention best practices and treatment are being utilized by staff for adults experiencing severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, and supports staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required)
• A history of passion for working with underserved populations and a dedication to creating a healing environment at the facility for persons served.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or other related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of related experience with management, and working with clients who have mental health and co-occurring disorder challenges.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with co-workers, and to manage time well.
• Computer literacy skills required, including experience with electronic health records, and documentation.
• Experience leading and building teams, and implementing improvement processes.

Wages & Benefits:
The Operations Manager Annual Salary is $73,000-$80,000 depending on experience.

Our total compensation package includes a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan for full time employees, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
