POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for constructing, installing, and fixing electronic and electrical systems while also carrying out routine maintenance activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate and rectify faulty circuits and wiring.
Employ testing equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, wattmeters, and so on.
Investigate and rectify malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
Set up and activate new equipment.
Perform general maintenance activities, which can include welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, and electrical.
Physical exertion is frequently required to complete job responsibilities. At times, physical ability may be required.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with all associates as well as internal and external clients.
Observe and adhere to all safety protocols and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Maintenance High-Performance Team to identify opportunities and improvement areas.
Participate in project, star point, and kaizen events as required.
Attend and participate in all necessary training opportunities to develop the necessary skills.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
Reports directly to the Facilities Specialist.
Works closely with other departments to address process and equipment issues.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee may be exposed to:
Loud noise levels produced by operating machinery and equipment.
Physical hazards from operating machinery and moving reels.
Nuisance fumes and dust may be encountered.
Work in areas where safety equipment such as steel-toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, etc., will be required.
Standing for prolonged periods of time is required. Regularly perform walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting.
Requires a high degree of manual dexterity that may be performed under restricted conditions.
Overtime may be required on short notice, and hours may be flexible.
Other job-related instructions may be required of the employee, as well as other job-related duties as requested, subject to applicable state and federal laws.
