- Emergecy Department, St. John's Hospital
- Part-time, 16 hours/week
- Day Shift
Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual's needs. May collect blood samples and process specimens. Maintains a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required.
Experience
Certified Nursing Assistant, LPN or Emergency Medical Technician experience is preferred.
1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Eligible to work as a Nursing Assistant in the hospital and/or home health care agency as listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry,
LPN-licensed in the state of practice or Emergency Medical Technician certified in state of practice is preferred.
