**Full-time EMT - starts at $23.00/hr for 6 month probation period. After successfully completing the probation period at 6 months, you will receive a wage increase to $25/hr and a bonus of $2,028.00.
**Part-time EMT - starts at $20.00/hr with annual step increases.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follows the policies and procedures of NWA and County Medical Protocols.

2. Completes dispatched assignments efficiently and provides timely paperwork.

3. Must be punctual and attentive in nature.

4. Provides appropriate documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

5. Assesses risks to patient safety and follows procedures to always ensure safety of oneself and others.

6. Ability to always operate the ambulance in a safe manner, complying with Washington State and company requirements for operation of a motor vehicle.

7. Coordinates with dispatchers and management in order to provide timely compassionate care if unexpected circumstances arise.

8. Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on exceeding customer expectations to provide the highest level of patient care.

9. Maintains a professional appearance and uniform standards.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

· NREMT (required to apply for WA state EMT certification per state requirements) or have a Washington State EMT Certification.

· Driver’s License in good standing.

· Must be 19 years or older at time of hire.
