Alpha Testing is looking to add an Environmental Project Manager - Phase I & II to central Texas. We are looking for a robust individual to kick start our new department and to expand our range of services. As an Environmental Project Manager - Phase I & II you will be responsible for completing Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for various types of properties including retail, residential properties, commercial and industrial properties. In addition, the right candidate will be responsible for project management, networking and enhancing ALPHA's Environmental Services client base and potential growth opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily management of ongoing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment projects
• Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget
• Maintain quality standards on all projects
• Create, prepare and update project proposals and technical reports
• Project research (historical, analytical, etc.)
• Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)
• Perform tests and sampling of environmental media including, but not limited to, soil, groundwater and soil gas
• Schedule project testing and other necessary field work
• Provide on-site project management to complete field testing
• Schedule project testing and other necessary field work
• Complete accurate and detailed field-testing reports and/or diagrams
• Data compilations and organization
• Review, update and approve invoices weekly for on-going projects
• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• 4-year degree in engineering, geology or applied science with an emphasis on environmental from an accredited university
• 2+ years of related experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent understanding of the ASTM E1527-13/21
• Familiarity with TCEQ Regulatory Guidance
• Preferred: Professional Geoscientist, Geoscientist in Training or Professional Engineer License (PG, GIT or PE) and/or certification in field of expertise
• Preferred: OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current refresher
• Preferred: local working with strong client relationships
