Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician. As our EP Technician, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. Typical duties may include:

  • You will assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures.
  • You will assist in soothing and positioning patients.
  • You will maintain sterile techniques.
  • During procedures you will also assist in the monitoring the patient as you assist the physician.
  • After the procedure, you will gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
  • You may transport the patient to recovery.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required. Completion of a Cardiovascular Tech program preferred.
  • 0-2 years of Electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Ablation devices.
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred.
  • American Heart ACLS and BLS required
  • Cardiac Rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia identification proficiency

What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • High School Graduate / GED
