The Equipment & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain bottling & labeling production equipment and the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

· Evaluate equipment operation through regular observation and use of all equipment on fast paced production line with various rotating machines.

· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

· Coordinate and ensure appropriate number of spare wear parts are stocked.

· Act as a Quality Control Ambassador, with constant diligence looking for issues with products and equipment.

· Set up, utilize, takes-down, clean and conduct repairs on:

o Hand or machine labeler;

o Feeder cleaner machines;

o Bottle filling machines;

o Capping machines;

o Banding machines;

o Filters and hose connections; and

o Pumps.

· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics to perform required maintenance and service.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

· Receive, organize, store, issue, maintain power tools and equipment used in facilities.

OTHER DUTIES

· Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

· Works overtime occasionally under special or seasonal circumstances.

· Minor snow removal as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Associates degree and 2-3 years experience, or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.

· Knowledge in industrial electronics and PLC programming.

· Previous training and/or maintenance education is a plus.

· Forklift training is a plus.
