Seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Support Equipment (SE) PFE Field Engineer. The PFE Field Engineer for the F-35 PFE Field Engineer Sustainment organization attend daily and weekly employee engagement discussions, travel, and site sustainment. Additionally, candidate selected for this role will be expected to become familiarized on full spectrum of F-35 PFE product line, current operational processes and procedures for field operations sites as well as PFE sustainment operations with the PFE/SE integrated product team in Ft. Worth TX. Must be able and willing to adapt to the constantly changing operational characteristics of the F-35 PFE/SE Sustainment operation as program needs mature over time. Work location for this position will be Naval Air Station NAS Fallon, NV.
Job may require flexible work schedule to provide coverage for on-site customer requirements, to include possibility of weekend work requirements.
Some travel for this position may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
Background in military or civilian PFE sustainment operations.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient using MS Office Software including;
Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
Experience using engineering drawings and
technical data (JTD).
Familiar with work conditions on military flight
line environments.
Proficient in industry standard maintenance
practices.
Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance
safety standards.
Candidate must have a Secret security
clearance, active within the past two years, or
have the ability to obtain an interim Secret
clearance prior to first start date, obtaining final
Secret clearance within 1 year of hire date.
Failure to obtain final Secret clearance within 1
year may result in termination of employment
Desired Skills:
Military flight-line ALSS / PFE / AFE / PR
maintenance experience
Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals
Experience with military standard maintenance
practices.
Professional focused on mission success.
PFE data management experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
