EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or similar.
Previous experience managing a team of 20+ employees, ideally in a private practice in a specialty that included “fee for service” or patient direct pay services.
Previous healthcare management experience required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrable experience in personnel management with the ability to coach and mentor managers and create career pathways for others to grow in the organization.
Superior interpersonal and team-building skills, including the ability to build consensus with providers and staff at all levels of patient care.
Understanding of retail medicine marketing and the ability to create and implement a marketing strategy.
Proven experience in managing all aspects of practice operations, including human resources, developing and leading a high-performing team, staff management, marketing, business development, and financial management.
Strategic development skills to guide organizations through important strategic decisions and expansion.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Superior organizational skills with the ability to deliver timely results.
Technological savvy, with the ability to gain efficiencies through technology.
In-depth knowledge of compliance, personnel law, workplace safety, and other regulatory issues pertaining to medical practices.
Financial analysis and reporting abilities, particularly with accounts payable, general ledger, budgeting, productivity tracking, inventory control, and incentive compensation models.
