Peters' Bakery is a San Jose institution. Opened on April 15th, 1936, Peters' Bakery is the oldest Family owned bakery in the Silicon Valley. Job Description: Perform all duties related to baking and maintain general cleanliness of Peters' Bakery.

Responsibilities:
* Follow baking schedule
* Practice proper baking procedures
* Understand proper use of all equipment including walk-in refrigerator, mixer, oven, and racks.
* Communicate with others
* Strive for detailed knowledge of product line
* Maintain a clean area. Including washing equipment and accessories.
* Be quick, accurate and organized
* Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
* Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Be physically able to work an eight hour day or more while on your feet
* Be able to work early morning shifts; start time is based on business needs and may vary from 6AM - 7PM
* Safely lift fifty pounds
* Have ability to perform basic mathematics on the spot
* Show sharp attention to detail
* Ability to Multitask
* Bilingual with Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus, but not mandatory.

The position is full-time Tue-Sat. Working Fridays and Saturdays is required/
The pay rate is $20 - $24 /hr. Depending on experience.
