Overview:

Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF by developing, coordinating, and publishing command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training.

Job Summary:

This position will support F-35 Force Structure & Basing personnel by providing training system expertise, development, and support.

Requirement: TS/SCI/SAP/SAR access is required

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of HQ staff experience at the MAJCOM level or higher
• 10 years USAF fighter rated aviation experience

Essential Duties:

• Support MAJCOM staff level functions to include incorporating COCOM requirements into training programs and updating required documents; F-35 total force integration issues; assist with unit manning requirements analysis; advise and coordinate on training and readiness taskings.
• Support F-35 Partner Nations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operations and training. This includes actions as foreign tactics manual development, assisting SAF/IA with foreign disclosure activities, and supporting foreign CONUS operations and training activities.
• Support development and coordination of Live Virtual Constructive training requirements; weapons and tactics planning.
• Support the development and documentation of 5th Generation Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and assist and provide tactical expertise developing and fielding 5th Generation fighter training range requirements.
• Assist with CAF syllabi development and coordinate exercise participation to maximize training opportunities for the entire F-35 enterprise.
• Support F-35 Site Survey and Programing Plan Site Activation and serve as CAF operations focal point for assessing and facilitating permanent new mission basing/beddown proposals.
• Support development of the USAF F-15 Life Cycle Beddown Plan and assist in the development of F-35 operational basing and beddown requirements to include Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) system requirements and integration.
• Support development of F-35 Joint Technical Documents (JTD), and support development F-35 Training Management System (TMS).
• Support for F-35 and 5th Generation Working Groups, developmental and operational testing activities and safety efforts.
• Support planning, programming, and budgeting actions and support requirements generation development and coordination via the JCIDS process necessary to enable CAF operational readiness

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

• 1 year of F-35 program experience within past 5 years or one (1) year USAF MAJCOM (or above) basing experience
