What you'll do:

• Provide technical support to diagnose and repair sterilization systems, washers, steam/water generation and distribution systems, clinical processing, and materials handling equipment.
• Perform maintenance, calibration, and qualification services on laboratory and process related instrumentation in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

• Provide technical support to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot process controllers, instrumentation, and equipment control packages.

• Properly and accurately document all work performed using required forms. Includes logbooks, data forms, labels, and reports.

• Follow established procedures for the operation, calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.

• Act as liaison with vendors and Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of equipment, instrumentation and control systems.

• Overnight travel to remote customer locations is probable.

What's required:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Formal training in theory, operation, and maintenance of sterilization equipment is preferred.
• Prior experience performing scheduled and corrective maintenance of controlled sterility equipment and associated systems including; autoclaves, steam sterilizers, steam generators, glass washers, and WFI systems.

• Experienced in the maintenance and calibration of monitoring sensors and system controls.
• Electronic technical training courses, instrumentation and process control educational courses, or equivalent college courses are a plus.
• Previous experience in the maintenance, calibration, and qualification of pharmaceutical or clinical laboratory equipment and control devices. Previous experience in the bio-technical, clinical, or pharmaceutical industries preferred.

• Prior experience performing all duties in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and/or current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) is preferred.

• Ability to lift forty-five pounds to shoulder height.

• Qualified candidate must possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
