We are looking for a responsible, motivated, Finance Specialist to perform finance tasks within our growing financial team!

Financial Specialist:

This position requires an individual with impeccable standards in communication, data entry, and customer service. The ability to multitask and effectively manage time, in a fast-paced environment. We are a growing company who believes in team participation. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of office experience, accounting software (Quickbooks preferred), and some finance knowledge.

Daily tasks would include recording financial transactions, assisting with account receivable transactions, specific finance plan transactions, as well as assisting customers team members.

Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)

· Assists with special projects assigned within the Finance Team.

· Provides customer service via telephone using a multi-line phone system, in person, and email correspondence. Assesses calls/inquiries and directs and/or records and relays messages promptly, accurately, professionally, and courteously.

· Receive and direct mail to appropriate departments.

· Processes daily receipts, creates deposits of checks prepares Daily Cash Receipts Report.

· Prepares and mails collection letters for Billing and Collections.

· Reviews customer finance documentation and assists with processing.

· Department filing.

· Maintains Finance databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.

· Update financial records.

· Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Qualifications:

· Competent in computer software including databases, word processing, and spreadsheets.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

· Ability to organize time effectively and remain flexible to effectively meet competing priorities.

· Demonstrate knowledge of basic office machines and software applications.

· Demonstrate excellent organizational and analytical skills, and attention to detail.

· Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals in person, on the phone, through email, etc.

· Ability to deal with multiple, changing priorities and interruptions in a multi-faceted work environment.

· Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and business information.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Must be flexible in job tasks.

· Must follow company policies.

· Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Education/Experience:

Minimum 1 year of office experience required. Additional experience as an administrative assistant, Finance assistant and/or HR assistant are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary Range: $35k-$45k Annual * Benefits package available
