Job Duties & Expectations:*

  • Accounting Duties:
  • Responsible for general ledger account reconciliations
  • Follow up reconciling items to ensure they clear in the following month.
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register
  • Ensure all additions and disposals are properly recorded and approved.
  • Keep track of all current and proposes capital expenditure projects
  • Maintain the Companys capital expenditure reporting
  • Ensure the Companys lease accounting is in compliance with ASC 842
  • Maintain complete records for all leases within LeaseQuery, the Companys lease accounting software
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stockholders, management, department heads, banks, auditors and other regulatory authorities
  • Prepare year-end reports for outside accountants
  • Maintain inventory control accounts. Ensure that inventory movements in the Manager Plus inventory subsystem are being accurately reported to the general ledger. Ensure purchase orders, quantity received, and invoice price are accurately recorded and authorized.
  • Calculate and maintain the Maintenance Dept intercompany charges.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process
  • Validate general ledger data with the BI Developer when generating updated or new BI reports.
  • Provide forecast and cost benefit analysis as requested

Essential Job Functions:*

  • Accurate and timely reporting of financial information out of the general ledger
  • Frequent and periodic speaking, reading (English), writing (English), , recollecting, sitting, standing, walking, squatting, climbing, for multiple sequential periods of 30 minutes or more; pulling, pushing, lifting 20 pounds or more at a time.
  • Internal and external customer service
  • Able to complete required paperwork accurately and completely
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure

Requirements*

  • CPA Certification Required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exemplary customer service
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • High level of integrity in dealing with confidential information

Preferences*

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the Recycling industry a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
