Job Title: Finance Analyst

Location: Lawrenceville, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

Position Summary: This role will support the finance and IT organization with project level financials. The IT organization has a project portfolio of ~250 active projects estimated at ~***M of cash spend. This role helps ensure the accuracy of the IT’s project portfolio estimates and actuals. In this capacity the individual will assist with financial projections, monthly financial close, and corporate financial reporting activities.

Detailed Position Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including preparing journal entries and preparing monthly reporting used within Finance and IT
• Assists in building of Excel financial models/templates, including actuals and forecasts, variance analysis ( i.e. creating standard monthly variance reporting packages).
• Work with the IT Project Management Office to research and problem solve issues related to project financials
• Assists with accounting for restricting activity, including helping to maintain estimates and ongoing reporting to Corporate.
• Assist with annual Tax Credit analysis, working across IT teams to gather necessary information for reporting

Desired Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business
• Minimum 5 years diversified experience in accounting, finance, or project management
• Experience with development of annual business plan, financial projections and operations expense management preferred
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger and budgeting systems required - the SAP is required and Hyperion is strongly preferred
• IT functional knowledge preferred, PPM exposure a plus
• Very high level of active proficiency in Excel required

•Strong financial and analytical skills required

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Must be team oriented and have ability to work collaboratively in a complex matrix environment, both in terms of functions and geographies
• Successful candidate must be a demonstrated, strong self-starter, have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able and willing to be flexible and adapt to dynamically changing organizational needs and requests, as well as learning new content and skills

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
