Financial Analyst
As the Financial Analyst you will be a key partner of a high-profile team, working side by side with the Manager, FP&A. You will provide crucial business intelligence to support strategic decision making, and work closely with the accounting and operations teams to deliver timely results. This position plays a critical role in achieving our goals, and candidates should be able to work well with a diverse group, have a proven capacity to develop and maintain complex financial models, and show a strong independent streak.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts for the business and track key variances, changes and opportunities in actual results vs forecasts
- Generate, maintain and automate financial reporting, including weekly, monthly and quarterly packages for key internal and external stakeholders
- Develop KPI’s for different business segments and report on them on a regular basis
- Support strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis for business and product teams, including ad hoc modeling and analysis
- Assist in the budgeting process including development of department specific budgets and related ongoing variance reporting
- Work with Controller team on month end close
Financial Analyst Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- MBA or Accounting certification (CPA, CFA) a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FP&A roles
- Financial Modeling, Financial Analysis, Design and Managing Processes, Financial Software, Developing Standards, Corporate Finance, Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, and Performance Management Initiatives
- Critical thinking skills and ability to deal with ambiguous situations
- Ability to deliver time-sensitive projects on-time and in a high-quality manner
- Above average Microsoft Excel skills
- Leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills that is self-motivated
- Ability to work closely with a senior management and business unit leaders
- Solid team player that is committed to Company values and business ethics
