Tower Legal Solutions has a great temporary contract opportunity (remote) for financial transaction analysts with experience in financial crimes investigation or money laundering monitoring.
Our client, a NYC-based legal administration firm, is seeking consultants to join their team for a remote financial review with anticipated to start immediately. The estimated duration is 3 months, possibly longer, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be comfortable reviewing and analyzing financial transactions and extracting data to identify and investigate potentially suspicious activity.
The project will take place remotely (such that you must meet technical requirements for remote work). The project will pay $35/hour PLUS overtime when approved by the client.

Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in a financial crimes investigation role or money laundering/terrorist financing transaction monitoring role
- Experience in cryptocurrency and/or trading platforms a plus
- Experience with ComplyAdvantage, Elliptic, CipherTrace, blockchain analytics tools and/or other money laundering software review tools a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Google products; Windows and Apple operating systems
- Bachelor's degree - 4-year degree required
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing alerts, transactions, and account activity to identify potentially suspicious activity
- Conduct money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crimes investigations using a variety of software applications and other tools while documenting steps taken through the investigation process
- Identify and escalate any issues that impact the quality of the surveillance alerts
- Escalate accounts that have participated in suspicious blockchain activity
- Work remotely, but will be part of a larger team, so will be expected to attend daily stand-up calls and report case/alert metrics to the project manager
