Custom fabrication shop in Rahway, NJ is seeking carpenters to join our team. We are a creative and talented group servicing a wide variety of industries: Theatre/Broadway, Special Events, Interior Themes, TV, Film, Trade Show and Retail.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience
· Furniture building capabilities, including but not limited to, veneer, laminate, turning and joinery
· Strong finish carpentry skills, including but not limited to, trim and molding installation, laminate application
· Knowledge of shop machinery and power tools
· Ability to read construction drawings
· Must be able to work in both a highly collaborative environment or alone, depending on project requirements
· Positive outlook and ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced high stress environment
· Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
· Collaborative temperament and the ability to work well with other departments
· Great eye for details and meeting high-quality expectations
· Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed, during busy seasons
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
