Mainz Brady Group is currently looking for a Firmware Engineer for a Networking/Telecommunications startup in San Jose, CA for a 6 months contract to hire. The team is looking for someone that has strong C programming experience and in-depth knowledge of networking protocols like Ethernet, L2/L3. Also looking for someone that open to learning Python programming will be a huge plus.
1. In-depth knowledge of Ethernet, L2/ L3 networking protocols and features
2. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals as well as network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP and VxLAN as well as 802.x based protocols.
3. Firmware developer with experience in Unix/Linux PCI-x, Ethernet device drivers.
4. C Programming experience with willingness to explore python programming
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $60.00 per hour
