Iron Forge Brewing Company, located in the Great Smoky Mountains, is seeking an experienced and motivated Food Expo. Iron Forge Brewing Company is a new brewery passionate about creating exceptional beer and food experiences for our guests. Our mission is to provide high-quality, locally sourced food that complements our craft beer. We’re looking for someone with a passion for high quality craft beer, a strong work ethic and a foundation of integrity, honesty and a goal to work as a team. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate orders between the kitchen and the dining room to ensure that food is delivered efficiently and promptly to customers.
• Ensure that food is prepared to the correct temperature, quality, and presentation before it is served to customers.
• Manage the pace of the kitchen to ensure that orders are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all food items are properly garnished and seasoned according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
• Monitor food inventory levels and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure that enough food is prepared to meet customer demand.
• Assist the kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Communicate with the server staff to ensure that customer orders are accurate and complete before they are served.
• Ensure that all food orders are properly packaged for takeout or delivery orders.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
