Yes! This is a counter serving position and our #1 goal is great customer service because happy customers are returning customers! & returning customers are BIG TIPPERS! We serve a variety of specialty foods. The made fresh to order menu all come from the very active and busy kitchen, which means not only will you be assisting with walk in orders who want to enjoy our ready to eat steam table choices, but also be assisting with submitting big orders to the kitchen from the phone, delivery app devices, and walk ins.
Job requires-
- Good customer service. This involves greeting customer, and being polite and helpful. Please be vocal, and engage with customers at all times. Insist in suggesting specials of the day, and some of our hot sellers, don't forget "ANYTHING TO DRINK, we have tons of homemade choices, the peanut punch is to die for". Good customer service results in receiving those tips!
- Work closely with the owner to providing a joyful/welcoming experience.
- Ability to receive orders, and serve food
- Get fluent with our updated POS system
- Keep the front of the restaurant sanitized and clean. All surfaces, steam table glass clean, front door and window.
- In charge of regulating the temperature of the steam table. As well as keeping the steam table dishes full, appetizing and clean/fresh.
