Retail Dining Specialist
BYU Cougareat is looking to hire a dependable, outgoing and hardworking individuals to help lead
students at retail dining locations on BYU campus. We are looking for individuals to help nourish
the campus community in a spirit of hospitality which supports learning, enhances community and
builds character.
Essential Functions
- Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures and safe working conditions
- Assist the Full Time Supervisor (FTS) with management activities and duties
- Ensure all team members are performing their job responsibilities
- Provide timely, engaging and friendly guest service
- Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
- Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Flexible and varying schedule options- Dedicated to providing a high level of customer service
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge Microsoft Office products
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership while being proactive and be
- Experience in Food Service is desired, but NOT required
Minimum education/experience required:
Two years of relevant full-time or part-time experience or education
Employee Class: 3/4 Time (28 hour)
Work Location: Provo Campus
Environment: Periodic exposure to unfavorable conditions. Need to be in variable temperatures or wet environments, etc.

Physical Exam Details: Relocate 50lb box of produce; 5 minutes; 1-2 times per day; None. Work with steamers and ovens; 5-10 minutes; 8-10 times per day; Gloves. Carry, push/pull, and walk while transporting food, supplies, and equipment; 5-10 minutes; 8-10 times per day; Carts. Climb, squat, kneel and lift; 5-10 minutes; 5-10 times per day; None

Approximate Starting Salary: $15.50 - $19.50 an hour
