We are seeking a Foreign Military Sales System of Systems (SoS) Architect for a dynamic and highly visible Army Program. The SoS Architect will work as a member of the System Engineering (SE) team providing senior-level architecture guidance, hardware engineering, integrated system testing development and execution, and system requirements, with an emphasis on hardware in the loop (HWIL) testing. This will require development of briefings and documentation such as test plans, test network architectures, analysis of alternatives, reports, and technical briefings for leadership. The Architect must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and be able to work across a diverse team to include foreign partners. A detailed technical understanding of AMD systems and concepts is also needed.
Required:
- BS degree in Engineering or related field
- Ten years direct experience with AMD systems, with specific system engineering or system architecting knowledge and experience with one or more of the following systems: IBCS, PATRIOT, THAAD, LTAMDS, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience of translating requirements into testable objectives
- Demonstrated proficiency with Linux OS
- Estimated 10% travel
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
