About the Position:
Our client is a leader in children's clothing worldwide! They are currently looking to bring warehouse associate- team players to fill many warehouse roles in their large Distribution Center for their peak season. Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.

Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Must have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift). Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions. General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.).

Essential Job functions:

• Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions as an equipment operator.
• Operate (MHE) material handling equipment, safely and efficiently. Must have a valid State issued Driver’s License.
• Skill Set to optimize flow so that all operations have their respective utility needs met.
• Use radio frequency scanner, complete certification for operating Forklift, picker, reach equipment and complete MHE inspections.
• Responsible for check-in and check-out of Forklift equipment.
• Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Must have the flexibility to modify schedule if necessary and work off regular shift.
• Flexibility to work anywhere in the Distribution Center any channel, ant shifts.
• All MHE must have the ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.
• The ability to use basic computer functions as needed.
• Must have the ability to work safely and abide by all of Forklift Operator Safety rules and procedures and follow PPE guidelines.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• Must have minimum 1 year experience with Cherry Picker (within the last 6 months)
• Knowledge, skill and ability requirements minimum competencies required for job performance
• Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.
• Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
• Proficient reading, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to abide by all policies and procedures; specifically, the attendance policy.
• Must know, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures. Prior work experience and education requirements High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.
• Six months automated distribution center experience preferred. Physical and Work Demands
• Must be available to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment, flexible to work different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs.
• Ability to work from heights, harnessed into Forklift equipment.
• Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift must wear work boots.
• Work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required.
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to forty pounds.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
• Holiday schedule to be decided by Management.
• Must be available to work overtime during peak periods including days off of normal shift.
• Comply with Blackout Periods (no vacation or personal time allowed).
