Smart Rain is looking for a Foundation Manager who will be responsible for implementing and building our charity and corporate giving initiatives. It is a full-time in the office position in Bountiful, Utah. This person is the only member of the Foundation Team at this time and will report to the VP of Marketing. Candidates must demonstrate a wide range of program development skills including strong project management, successful partnership building, public relations, have a track record of presenting to government and corporate officials, and be a dynamic communicator. Finding effective strategies to meet foundation goals that align with corporate initiatives. All while collaborating with the marketing, sales and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, lead, and manage the foundation and corporate giving programs to ensure a comprehensive approach to fulfilling the company's mission in charitable giving.
• Lead major gift identification, cultivation and solicitation efforts.
• Oversee and manage giving campaigns, in partnership with the marketing, sales and executive teams.
• Develop and sustain major gifts from Smart Rain in collaboration with the VP of Marketing.
• Create, manage, and produce special events focused on building support and driving specific marketing and public relation outcomes.
• Research, initiate, and build new relationships and create new initiatives to fuel the organization’s growth. Conduct research to identify potential partners and opportunities.
• Create a pipeline and process to cultivate and engage media outlets.
• Prepare and maintain monthly reports of giving efforts. Curate data to assist decision making and strategy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, master’s degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a nonprofit or public relation setting.
• Successful track record working with corporations, foundations, and government entities.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including business leaders, senior management, foundations, etc.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
