FP&A Analyst Job at HealthComp, LLC
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the FP&A Vice President, the FP&A Analyst is responsible for analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance. Provides accurate and timely financial reporting to organizational leaders. Performs duties in accordance with company values, policies, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Analyses business and financial data by running and updating reporting
· Develops financial plans and reports for organization leaders and forecasting
· Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
· Creates financial models based on analyses to support organization decision making
· Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
· Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
· Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
· Develop and track monthly forecasts while providing comparisons to prior forecasts and budget
· Assist with special projects
EDUCATION, EXPERINCE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
· Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements and corporate finance.
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Time and project management skills; highly organized.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· A great attitude, a willingness to work hard and have fun.
