Big Bear Vacations is currently seeking a Front Desk Agent to join their team in Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
Who we are:
Our Front Desk Team are the first experience of our arriving guests to Big Bear Vacations and have the opportunity to set them up with an amazing experience. We manage over 300 short term Vacation Rental Homes (also known as professionally managed Airbnb homes). With our full-service management of these homes, we offer face to face check-in services, in house guest support, and much more. Our front desk team provides a first impression to our guests who enter the office, and continue to provide them with excellent customer service for all of their needs by working closely with our other departments such as maintenance and housekeeping, ensuring that our guests are assisted in a timely manner and having a 5 star experience.
About the role:
The Front Desk Agent should have experience with working in a team as well as providing customer service. Our top priority is to ensure all guests staying with Big Bear Vacations are able to make lasting memories with their friends and family while they explore and experience all that Big Bear has to offer. Knowledge of Big Bear is key to enhancing a guest’s stay by providing them with local recommendations on activities, restaurants, attractions, and more. Connecting with each guest will help to understand the reasoning for their trip and provide the opportunity to offer them personalized experience options.

- *Provide world class customer service to our guests by helping them to create lifelong memories at the beginning of their trip.
- Recommend for our guests and owners the best ways to experience Big Bear for all times of the year so that they can have their best-ever-vacation or getaway.
- Provide all visitors entering our building with kindness, helpfulness, and positive action on all of their needs.
- Create a positive work environment by treating all team members with our company culture guidelines (respect, trustworthiness, responsiveness, and kindness)
- Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, and seeking help when needed
- Respond to guest needs in a timely and professional manner, ensuring they know that all of their needs are important to us as we value the experience they receive from us
Our ideal candidate:
Education and Experience
- Direct experience in customer service
- Preferred experience in the Vacation Rental Industry / Hospitality
- Fluent in English & Spanish preferred but not required
Skills and abilities:
- Organization and Time Management
- Positivity and Problem Solving
- Communicating verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in typing and using technology
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive in snow conditions
- Must have the ability and willingness to relocate if necessary, to the Big Bear area
What We Offer:
- Salary: $15 - $16 hourly + Obtainable Monthly Bonus ranging from $150.00 to $450.00
