Pulley's mission is to make it easier for anyone to start a company. We believe that more startups should be created and that founder-led companies are more successful in the long term. With Pulley’s cap table management tools, companies can better understand and optimize their equity for the long term. Starting a company is hard enough. Managing equity shouldn’t be.

We’re a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, self-starters to help us build equity management tools for founders. Pulley is growing quickly with over 3000 customers including unicorns like Clubhouse, Birdies, and Coda - all within our first year of product launch. Who We're Looking For

We are looking for Frontend Engineers to join our team who will advocate for the user. We seek engineers who want to build features for customers, not just technology. We are looking for engineers who can work with low fidelity specs and who are excited to jump between engineering, product, customer support, and design.

Our stack:

• Golang (Go) backend

• Javascript with React / Redux front end with GraphQL and Hasura

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy features end to end - We ship daily. You are responsible for breaking down high-level features into tasks that can ship to prod

• Develop features and improvements to Pulley in a secure, well-tested, and performant way

• You’ll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features

• Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects

• Help improve the overall experience of our product by improving the quality of the Frontend features

• Identify areas of improvement in the code base, and help contribute to making it better

Qualifications & Fit

• Professional experience with ReactJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (ViewJS, Angular, Ember, etc.)

• Ability to demonstrate the capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions

• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems

• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

• A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)

• 5+ years of engineering experience - You can readily learn most technologies as you go

• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)

• Write well-documented, clean, testable code

• Strong work ethic - You have a willingness to do what it takes to deliver results

• Entrepreneurial - You want to start a company one day and have the ability to make decisions
