Full Charge Bookkeeper Job at Automation-Plus
Duties include: reception, maintain bookkeeping for multiple Entities, including bank deposits, check writing, bank reconciliations, payroll, general ledger transactions, journal entries and Insurance audits Must be proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word & Email. Candidate is required to have a positive attitude, good typing skills, organizational skills, desire to improve skills, professional appearance, work well with others, including communication skills. 2+ years accounting experience.
Requirements:
* Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop and Online a must.
* Experience with reconciliation of Bank, Credit Card, Liabilities, and payroll accounts.
*Willing to travel to client’s offices to perform duties.
* Must be organized, have good communication and detail oriented.
* Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues
* Research accounting issues
* Must be able to work independently
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Not required but a plus for the tax season
* Understanding of data entry for taxes
* Have some knowledge of tax laws and willing to take tax courses to enhance knowledge
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
