Gas Attendant Job at Sandri Energy, LLC
Sandri Energy is now hiring a Part Time Gas Attendant for our friendly, hometown Bernardston, MA gas station. This is a busy, full service fueling location with a Dunkin Donuts onsite. Sandri takes pride in keeping our customers and their cars fueled up and on the go. This location provides an important service as it is one of the few stores in the area to provide full service at the pump.
Responsibilities of a Gas Attendant at Sandri include:
- Pumping the correct amount and type of fuel into customer vehicles without causing damage
- Clean customer windshields
- Accurately taking customer payments and making accurate change
- Answering customer questions in a courteous and helpful manner
- Maintaining the flow of traffic by requesting customers not to park at the pumps when visiting Dunkin Donuts
- Maintaining a clean and safe pump area by removing trash, keeping the washer buckets clean and full, sweeping the pump area, wiping down pumps, and making sure walkways and pump areas are clear of snow and that they are salted/sanded.
Our ideal Gas Attendant candidate will have the following skills and traits:
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
- Physical ability to navigate around customer vehicles with restricted space to move and to safely and efficiently operate fueling equipment and clean customer windshields
- Ability to accurately manage payments
- Good spoken communication skills
- Reliable attendance
- Attention to customer service
- Committed to keeping pump area and lot safe and clean
