POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a full time Security Guard for our Phoenix location to manage traffic for the Over the Road (OTR) Gate. Traffic will include employees and vendors as well as inbound/outbound product loads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain our culture of "Safety First"
• Manage inbound deliveries per daily schedule.
• Keep clear, detailed and legible records of inbound and outbound shipments per company standards.
• Understand the Appointment Plus software platform for tracking inbound appointments into the facility.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
• Identify all vehicles and limit entrance to those approved (e.g., company logo'd vehicle; hanging Hensley placard; or they are listed on the daily guest list provided by the receptionist).
• Communicate clearly and concisely with warehouse management and other members of management throughout the facility.
• Maintain clean work environment by cleaning while working

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Good communication skills and cheerful disposition.
• Excellent customer service.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Ability to read code dates proficiently.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to work holidays
• Previous beverage industry/warehouse experience helpful but not necessary

Online Assessments: Applicants who proceed to this phase of the process are sent an email invite from Predictive Index. You will be asked to complete a 2-part assessment. The first part is a Behavioral Assessment that should only take about 3 minutes to complete. The second assessment is a Cognitive Assessment that takes approximately 12 minutes.

Interview: Applicants who have successfully progressed to this step in the hiring process may be asked to submit a virtual job interview or attend an in-person interview at one of our locations. You will also be asked to answer additional questions regarding employment history (dates of employment, positions held, reasons for leaving) and job-related training and/or certifications.

Job Offer Acceptance: After the interview, hiring managers review all candidates for the position and make a selection. A contingent job offer is extended. Once finalized, the pre-employment process begins. Individuals in this phase must fill out and sign a background screening consent form, complete a pre-employment drug test and physical exam. Upon successful completion of these steps, the recruiter schedules the new hire orientation and start date.
