Graduate Admission Data Operations Specialist (Part-time)
Position Summary: The Graduate Admissions Data Operations Specialist has the exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing Admission and Recruiting team by supporting a distinctly Christian higher education brand by being responsible for the creation, review and maintenance of graduate student admission and academic records. This position will assist the university and other partners in ministry in the growth of graduate enrollments by ensuring the accurate and timely execution of enrollment data processes. The data operations specialist maintains security and confidentiality of student education records as mandated by FERPA regulations.
General Duties:
  • Day to day data management in CRM and Banner only for graduate level students and graduate programs.
  • Responsible for auditing Entity data records; Person, Opportunity, Application. This includes, but is not limited to, updating demographic information, updating Application information, closing out Opportunities, etc.
  • Responsible for inactivating student records and closing out Opportunities according to end of term procedures and by request for the Director of Graduate/Adult Admission & Operations.
  • Responsible for processing all entry term and start date referrals.
  • Work closely with CRM Administrator on graduate data procedural needs: training, reports, view, workflows, etc.
  • Bring any auto workflow or process errors to CRM Administrators attention.
  • Responsible for merging graduate duplicate Person records.
  • Create log of changes made to Submitted Applications in CRM daily for Banner update report.
  • Other data management duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate/Adult Admission & Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least three years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience with SIS (Banner), CRM or similar system preferred.
  • Previous experience in an admission office setting helpful.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in use of software applications including Microsoft applications, databases, spreadsheets and word processing required.
  • Must have analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work with others.
  • Ability to learn and work with Banner computer system.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and organizational skills and the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse constituency.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.
  • Work occasional weekends and holidays.
