POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the brand’s visual look and feel, while helping to advance and excel in the market by creating effective work. Deliver on-brand creative and graphic design that drives sales growth. Execute brand communication across in-restaurant materials (menu layouts, feature cards, posters/banners, etc.), print advertising, internal campaigns, email, social media, digital and more, with consistent and compelling messaging. Provide insight and contribute throughout the design process, from conception through design, execution and delivery.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities -

• Adheres to brand strategy based on the project brief, creative criteria, expected production values, and delivers creative concepts on strategy and on time

• Effectively articulate concepts and creative solutions (artistically, visually and verbally)

• Production Trafficking: experience in managing and communicating with print vendors, delivering all project specification and distribution needs on time and within budget

• Experienced in designing creative for digital ads (display banner, social ads, email etc.)

• Produce assets quickly, efficiently, and accurately, keeping quality and maintaining brand integrity top of mind

• Work with marketing and creative team to maintain consistent brand look and feel

• Create and edit graphics for menus, web pages, email newsletters, promotional materials, social media, and print assets

• Possess creative problem-solving skills for visual design and proficiency in typography

• Remain positive and detail oriented in a fast-paced, fun, environment

• Utilize data to iterate creative designs for marketing and social campaigns

• Manipulate imagery (including color correction) for use in various projects

Performance Requirements/Skills –

• 3-5+ years of experience in design

• Passion and knowledge of the Hospitality Industry

• Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, branding understanding and skills

• Ability to work with tight deadlines and be flexible with changes

• Very strong grammar and some copy-editing skills

• Strong communication skills, ability to be a team player and a positive attitude.

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

• Photo retouching skills

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, illustration, or art

• Submission of portfolio featuring examples of design work required
