Landscaper and Groundskeeper
We are looking for an energetic groundskeeper/landscaper to maintain and improve the exterior grounds around the property to ensure it looks its best.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean exterior of buildings daily (including hallways & windows)
- Physically walk the property on a frequent basis and performs de-webbing, removes litter, debris, cigarette butts, and pet droppings from the grounds to maintain the property's curb appeal.
- Pick up, remove, & compact trash. Transfer trash and other items left outside of dumpster into the dumpster.
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting exterior light fixtures and cleaning the HVAC & A/C filters.
- Maintaining landscape and garden areas by mowing the lawn, planting/watering plants, trimming trees and bushes, and fertilizing flowers and other plants.
- Install simple appliances and equipment.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs & smoke detectors.
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
- Be able to lift up to 100 pounds
Skills
- Ability to work independently and outdoors in the heat/cold.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
Experience
- Groundskeeping/Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
