We seek an experienced Civil Engineering Leader focused on drainage and H&H planning and design. This position will be based out of one of our North Texas offices (Fort Worth, Frisco, or Dallas).

Job Description

• Manage the planning and design for multiple private and public Clients
• Develop new business by attracting and retaining new clients and growing relationships with existing clients
• Lead multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments
• Manage/Oversee the quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects including the development of scope, budgets and proposals necessary for contract negotiations
• Supervise and mentor Project Managers and Engineers in performing H&H engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features
• Oversees hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic models, and the production of drainage impact studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other drainage improvements
• Partner with senior staff throughout the firm in maintaining and developing client relationships

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Registered PE in Texas required
• 10 or more years of consulting experience serving municipalities and governmental agencies
• Strong experience with H&H and drainage planning and design; H&H modeling experience should include steady and unsteady modeling and 1D and 2D modeling (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a Client Manager and attract new Clients
• Previous Project Management experience providing repeat service to the same Client is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to prepare and delivery client presentations
• Works well with others and shares success with team
