We are looking to hire a year-round Head Housekeeper at our 83-room mid-scale Country Inn & Suites, Shoreview, MN hotel owned and operated by IGO Legacy Hotel Group, LLC.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced housekeeper looking to continue their experience into a leadership role.

As the Head Housekeeper, your job duties include (but not limited to):

• Train and supervise housekeeping, laundry and janitorial staff
• Assists with hiring, counseling, and motivating department staff
• Prepare work schedules
• Assign daily duties to scheduled department staff
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, guest room supplies linen and terry
• Inspect rooms and common areas to make sure they are clean
• Provide excellent guest service
• Ensuring compliance of all brand and company standards
• Completing daily, weekly and monthly paperwork as assigned
• Assists in monitoring the expenses of the housekeeping department
• Ensures effective departmental communication
• Works shifts and fills in for vacant shifts when needed cleaning rooms, public areas or laundry

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 or more years of housekeeping experience required
• Able to clean a guest room in 32 minutes or less
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Good decision-making skills
• Able to work independently and dependable
• Superior customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule that will include mostly day, weekends and some holidays
