Health & Safety Specialist- Ergonomics

We are seeking a dynamic Health & Safety Specialist- Ergonomics to join our team of professionals working in Philadelphia, PA., advising various city-wide Health & Safety programs. If the description below sounds like you, Apply Now!

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the city-wide occupational health and incident data analyses programs
• Conduct incident trend analyses and make recommendations for reducing claims
• Complete ergonomic assessments for a wide variety of exposures
• Oversee ergonomics, medical emergency response and biohazard programs
• Implement medical surveillance programs for respirators and bio-hazards
• Develop and assist to deliver employee training in a wide variety of settings

Required Skills and Experience:

• A BS in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred
• Must have functional experience in (4) four of the following programs:
• Experience and the ability to achieve the PA Bureau of Workers' Compensation Accident and Illness Prevention Provider qualifications
• Experience with incident data analyses, First Aid/CPR/AED programs, ergonomics and/or biohazard/bloodborne pathogen programs
• Ergonomics Program & Education
• Office Ergonomics
• Materials Handling & Field Ergonomics
• MSI Medical Management
• MSI Analysis & Reduction Program
• Injury Data Reporting & Analysis
• Driver / Fleet Safety Program, Policies & Education
• Motor Vehicle Crash Reporting & Analysis
• Driver License Verification
• Drug & Alcohol Program
• Workplace Violence
• Fall Prevention
• Special Events/Public Safety
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Must be able to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
