Our team is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to help coordinate services between clients and caregivers. A successful Scheduling Coordinator will implement schedules, ensure adequate staffing and maintain continuity of care to best meet the needs of our clients. This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, the ability to plan and organize changing needs of the company as well as a proactive nature and ability to work independently with minimum direction and/or supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Staffing Coordinator - Schedule shifts for new and exisiting clients and caregivers
- Oversee caregiver's schedules including late alerts/call offs, time off requests, and review daily visit reports
- Participate in the recruitment, selection and hiring of new caregivers
- Generate regular reports on caregiver supply and demand to the Operations Manager
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, fellow team members and referral sources.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client’s families.
- Maintain professionalism; provide support and encouragement to the caregiver team.
- Occasional on-call duties (once every 4-6 weeks)
Requirements:
- High school diploma and 2 years experience in an office setting preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and scheduling systems
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically
- Ability to remain flexible, resilient and calm in all situations.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately complete work activities within specific deadlines while managing interruptions.
- Ability to legally work in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21,000.00 - $24,000.00 per year
