Smokey’s, a small, intimate Wisconsin Northwoods supper club that offers exquisite cuisine in a casually elegant setting, is looking for a Host.
Position Responsibilities
- Plan and organize reservations and waitlists.
- Manage and maintain the restaurant seating chart.
- Greet and seat guests as they enter the restaurant.
- Take drink orders for guests as they wait or direct them to the bar as necessary.
- Provide guests with menus and ensure they are comfortably seated.
- Keep the Host station neat and organized and assist other staff members with basic duties.
- Assist in preparing for large parties.
- Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints and report issues to the Restaurant Manager.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up the restaurant during opening and closing shifts.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with POS Terminal and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
