US operations established in 1993 by President Eldon Scott who re-invigorated vendor-based marketplaces and foodhalls in New York City.
We are seeking an energetic and friendly individual to join our team at our new Foodhall on 14th St.
General Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Hospitality industry experience a plus
- Clean and maintain common areas, floor, steps, entry doors and storage areas.
- Clear, wipe down and bus common area tables and counters.
- Communicate vendor issues, market needs, and maintenance requests to the appropriate managers.
- Facilitate vendor communication and uphold market procedures & policies.
- Receive and stock common market supplies, and assist with vendor deliveries.
- Manage waste removal and closedown of the market.
Successful candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working on a team, and have the ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively. A New York Food Handler's Card, and/or customer service experience, is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position, starting hourly wage is competitive.
