Housekeeper Job at Allegiant Healthcare of Phoenix
Minimum Qualifications:
Housekeeping or related work experience
Ability to read and follow instructions
Must be capable of performing arithmetic calculations
Experience with other trades helpful
Special Qualification:
Must be able to perform heavy physical labor
Must be able to get along well with people
Must be able to work with limited supervision
Function or Purpose:
Keeping the facility clean and performing minor maintenance
Responding and accommodating a variety of personalities while working with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
1. Clock in and out at the beginning and end of shift.
2. Pick up clean rags, mop heads and check cart for supplies needed at the beginning of shift. Return all dirty mops and rags to Laundry at the end of the shift.
3. Keep cart clean and neat. Do not leave cart key in the lock.
4. Be courteous and respectful when entering resident rooms to perform your tasks.
5. Verify with your supervisor if you have questions regarding what you can and cannot do for the residents.
6. Keep the common areas, connection room and other assigned areas clean and neat always.
7. Perform all other tasks as required by your supervisor or Department head to the best of your ability always.
