JOIN OUR TEAM AS A FULL- OR PART-TIME HOUSE CLEANER

We have the nicest clients in the world and we're looking for amazing house cleaners to help us care for their homes. We are looking for someone with 1 or more years of professional cleaning experience.

WHAT DO WE PAY?

• $25/hr
• Mileage reimbursement
• $25 cell phone reimbursement paid weekly
• We pay weekly on Fridays via direct deposit

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE AS A HOUSE CLEANER?

The first cleaning of the day starts at 9 am. That means you'll need to pick up your cleaning equipment by 8:15 am - 8:30 am. You'll clean for your first client, take a break, then drive to the next client. You will usually clean 2-3 homes a day. Most of our cleanings are done by 5 pm. You'll then drop off your equipment at the end of the day. You'll get your things ready for the next day: putting fresh towels in your bag, refilling chemicals, wiping down your vacuum, etc.

WHERE AND WHEN DO WE CLEAN?

We currently clean homes in the East Bay. Most of our clients are in Alameda up to El Cerrito. We clean Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 am - 6 pm. We do not work weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• This is a physically demanding job. You should be able to stand, bend, reach awkward angles, and lift up to 65 Lbs consistently throughout the day.
• 1+ years of professional cleaning experience with an agency or hotel preferably
• Proficient in speaking and writing English

• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable car that can transport cleaning supplies like a vacuum, mop, laundry hamper, and cleaning tote
• Smartphone
• Able to work in all our service areas: Alameda up to El Cerrito

WHAT KIND OF CLEANING DO WE DO?

Most of our cleaning jobs are residential cleaning. These are typically houses, apartments, and condos. You will clean various rooms in the home such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.

Some of the cleaning tasks you will perform:

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, organizing
• Taking out the trash
• Wiping down surfaces such as counters, tables, stovetops
• Interior oven and fridge cleaning
• Wiping down cabinets and baseboards
• Scrubbing tile and grout
• Cleaning toilets, showers, and tubs

Other cleaning jobs that we will take on from time to time are move-out cleanings and vacation rental turnovers like Airbnb.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We partner with an organization called Cleaning for a Reason. We provide free cleaning services to cancer patients through this partnership. Part of your job will be cleaning for these clients. This can be a very fulfilling job to take on. But it can also be heartbreaking as many cancer patients have homes that haven’t been cleaned in some time because they don’t have the strength to clean on their own or a support system around them to help out.
