This position will be responsible for housekeeping cabins and public spaces at Camp Eden Wood as well as learning food service (prep cook/dishwashing) to help support in the areas of need.

Duties and Responsibilities Housekeeper/Cook/Dishwasher/Host:

• Works safely with housekeeping and food service chemicals and tools while maintaining inventory and following Department of Health regulations
• Monitors condition of all equipment, cabins, meeting spaces and reports any damage, deficiencies or hazards to manager or lead, immediately
• Communicates food service, housekeeping and hosting needs and updates to manager or lead, including scheduling changes & guest or participant needs
• Conducts general and deep cleaning duties in the kitchen, dining hall, cabins, community buildings and keeps environmental impact to a minimum

Physical Demands of Housekeeper/Cook/Dishwasher/Host:

• Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs
• Required to walk, sit, stand, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and move continually during working hours
• Must be able to hear and communicate verbally
• Required to feel objects and use fingers to operate tools and controls

Work Environment:

• Works both indoors and outdoors
• Commercial kitchen
• May be subject to physical aggression and challenging behaviors from program participants

Qualifications of Housekeeper/Cook/Dishwasher/Host:

• Must be able to pass an organizational background study
• Previous customer service, housekeeping, food service, proper food handling procedures desirable
• Good organization & time management skills
• High school diploma preferred
• Must be able to work independently when needed
• Ability to work with individuals of all ages and abilities
