HR PARTNER TALENT ACQUISITION RECRUITER HYBRID FT DAYS 23579 Job at New Bridge Medical Center
- Assists the Director of Talent Acquisition and The Talent Acquisition Manager with strategies to ensure the Medical Center hires properly qualified, customer-focused staff for all positions. Strategies include posting, identifying qualified Medical Center employees, use of job fairs, advertisements, networking and other avenues of recruitment.
- Interviews appropriate applicants, screening candidates for relevant experience, customer service capabilities, job requirements, reliability and other traits and qualifications, as outlined by the hiring department; refers qualified candidates to the hiring department with recommendations for hire; makes offer of employment to selected candidate.
- Maintains a pipeline of applicants for the areas of recruitment responsibility. Able to identify and produce candidates from this pipeline to fill existing vacancies.
- Consults with Manager, Compensation & HRIS for appropriate salary offers for non-union employees, within wage and salary guidelines. Also, consults with Manager on issues such as parity, industry standards. Negotiates the appropriate salary with the candidates. Communicates salary offers and negotiations to the hiring departments. Hands off offers to the Onboarders.
- Quantifies employment activity when requested by preparing various reports (e.g., exit interviews, turnover, applicant flow, market conditions, time positions are vacant, ratio of candidates to vacant positions, expense reports) on institutional and human resources needs with recommendations for improvements.
- Build strong relationships with Hiring managers to fully staff departments. Meet with managers to ensure all budgeted positions are posted and recruited for.
- Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures, and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps.
- Understands and adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
- Familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements.

BASIC COMPETENCIES
Education:
Bachelors Degree strongly preferred..
Experience:
One to five years high volume hourly non-exempt recruiting experience preferred.
Corporate or Agency Recruiting a must.
Healthcare experience preferred but not required
Experience working in a union environment a plus
Skills:
Demonstrated familiarity with word processing programs preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position. Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
