Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present plans to Executive Leadership Team. The Human Resources Trainee will be based in our Client Services Center in Jersey City, NJ and will help to impact the organization through the searching of talents to bring onto the Client Services Center’s team and will also be responsible for assisting with other HR topics, including the Contact Tracing App to manage COVID-19 cases and ensure the safety of the teams. The role will be offered an hourly rate of $20/hr, plus eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefit plan.


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Administration:
  • Assist in drafting job descriptions, efficiently coordinate candidate online interviews and job assessments, while ensuring an engaging candidate experience
  • Manage job applications through the applicant tracking system to create job postings, to screen, review, and track resumes of candidates and partner with recruitment agencies, if needed.
Background Check and On-boarding:
  • Facilitate background check paperwork and collect, verify, and provide new hire documentation to the Compensation & Benefits team
  • Maintain accurate records of employees and systems data
COVID-19 Guidance and Contact Tracing App:
  • Assist with running reports from Everbridge (Contact Tracing App) and communicate protocols effectively with the managers
  • Provide a highly professional approach and outstanding service to assist with COVID related questions
Other HR Projects/Tasks:
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Human Resources with any other HR related projects/tasks as assigned: minutes of the meetings, accurate data for reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time, 6 Month Program
  • The position will require working from the Client Services Center, NJ office (Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm)
  • At least 6 months of prior experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Highly motivated, good attitude, work ethic, reliability, professionalism, and maturity
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
