ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serves as company contact for job information, application requests and application receipts
- Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment openings
- Processes incoming requisitions
- Posts and maintains internal job listing boards
- Tracks applicant flow and assists in compiling quarterly government reports
- Maintains internal application files for nonexempt employees
- Drafts and maintains job description library for all sites
- Uses HRIS, social media, internet and posting sites to research potential candidates
- Review and assess applicants to evaluate suitability of position requirements
- Contacts potential hires about open positions and prescreens candidates
- Schedules and conducts initial interview appointments
- Explains requirements, duties, and responsibilities of open positions
- Explains the benefits and compensation of the position
- Performs reference, background checks and schedules pre-employment drug screens for potential employees
- Prepares offer letters, memos and conducts offer negotiations with desired candidates
- Coordinates and schedules New Employee Orientation
- Develops and maintains relationships with individuals in the industry for the purposes of future hiring
- Updates/maintains company organizational charts-Status Update information
- Maintains various HR spreadsheets and reports
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned such as filing/document retention
- Process weekly timecards for contract employees
- Process invoices related to the onboarding process or contract employees
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma require, Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- 2-5 Years’ experience in a Manufacturing recruiting role preferred.
- Technically savvy with HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.
- Understanding and use of recruiting metrics preferred.
- Possess knowledge of best recruiting strategies
- Able to demonstrate awareness of appropriate and competitive compensation and benefits
- Possess excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Possess strong PC skills, including a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess strong persuasive and negotiation skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Possess solid analytical-thinking abilities
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of Human Resources work
- Strong proficiency with social media recruiting tools
- E-Verify and I-9 experience in addition to auditing
