ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. We currently have a position available for a full time Human Resource Generalist to administer payroll, employee benefits, HR policies, and the overall positive employee experience.

Hours are in office location, 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Weekly payroll processing including all onboarding and termination procedures
• Manage the employee new hire orientation process
• Employee benefits administration
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to HR functions
• Employee performance management
• Employee training program administration
• Employee engagement, appreciation, and retention
• Manage time and resources for completion of special projects assigned and ensure all deadlines are met
• Support and back-up for the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Controller functions

What It Takes:

• Minimum of 2 years performing payroll processing and general human resources related experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Exhibits accuracy, detail, and quality assurance in all work
• Resolves issues quickly and effectively
• A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
• Works effectively with others and independently
