Qualifications
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
- Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
- Must possess a High School Diploma (Associate’s degree in Human Resources preferred)
- At least one year of general human resources experience preferred
- Must possess strong computer skills
Essential Functions
- Acts as liaison between operations and NHQ in regards to all human resources related issues and concerns
- Organizes and maintains employee personnel records as required by company procedures
- Responsible for entering all personnel transactions in HRIS system such as but not limited to new hires (including State reporting), transfers, pay changes, FMLA, terminations, and COBRA in a timely manner
- Responsible for screening data entry prior to entering to ensure accuracy of the content that all required documentation is attached and necessary approval signatures have been obtained
- Ensures that all Human Resources related documentation is accurate and in compliance with company guidelines prior to filing electronically
- Communicates with unemployment or State representatives to determine the best course of action regarding unemployment claims
- Performs all other duties as assigned
